Days passed thinking

কি আছে তাঁতে?

কামনার সকল যাতনা মিশে যায় মনে

ভাবনার অন্তরালে কে দেখবে এসে?

কণ্টকাকীর্ণ পথে চলি আনমনে গেয়ে 

বিঁধে ব্যথা যতোটা কাছাকাছি অন্তরে।

এ উদ্যম ঘন সবুজের সমারোহে-

আতসবাজির মতো হঠাৎ মিলিয়ে যায় 

বয়ে চলে আশ অন্তর সমীপে।

হিসাবে অমিল অহেতুক অংশুমালী হাসে

কেনো হা-হুতাশ হুতাশী অনল দহনে।

যতোটুকু মেঘ নীল আকাশ ঢাকে, 

ততোটুকু জলই বায়ুর সঙ্গে মেশে,

অবলীলায় সমস্ত যাতনা সয়ে।

সবুজ ছাপিয়ে হলুদের মেলায় বসে

পায়ে পায়ে পিষে মাটি হয় শেওলা,

চাপানো দায়ে দাহ্য অবশেষ,

বিনিময়ে সমস্ত স্মৃতিগুলো জাগে।
