গরুর দামে পোলট্রি মুরগি কিনছি কেজি দরে

সবজিগুলো খাচ্ছে সবাই সেটাও গেল বেড়ে;

গুড়ের দামে দিচ্ছে চিনি নুনের দামে ডাল

দাম কমাতে চাইলে বিক্রেতা দিচ্ছে গা'ল।

আয়গুলো সব যাচ্ছে নিচে খরচগুলো বাড়তি,

চাকরিজীবী বাড়াতে বেতন করছে লাফালাফি। 

সস্তা সবই মিলছে নাকি একই গাড়ির ভিতরে, 

চলো সবাই লাইন ধরি টিসিবির ট্রাকের পেছনে।
