Clouds floats on water-Titon Hossain

This is a wide world

And I did not know myself in the moment;

I look with this insatiable greedy eye

The sea of mind is crazy...

Back again and again to touch the heart of the huge mountain

like a beast of burden;

This wide world is going on and on...

When the time rolls around; who pulls the load?

This little wind across this wide world-

If it never comes back;

I will find myself in infinity...

What pain? Whose pain? Who cries?

Who else lights the lamp in this empty room in the evening.

Leave this wide world

Himalayas are far from the land of snow...

I will also be destitute someday;

Leave the chest of clay swollen...

I will never touch the sea again.

Your happiness is in the guise of joy

If there is no more like no one, then-

Go find me in the infinite darkness;

In the mirror lying on the edge of the abyss

Take care of yourself.

This wide world is bound in you,

I also want to go out, I want to find me;

In the mere guile of Kangal Chahuni-

Tiredly, I see white clouds floating in the water.

এই বিস্তৃত জগৎ

আর আমি আমারেই চিনিলাম না ক্ষণকালে;

এই অতৃপ্ত লোভাতুর চোখ দিয়ে চেয়ে থাকি

মনের সাগর যেন উন্মাদ.....

বিশাল পাহাড়ের গা স্পর্শে ফিরি বারবার 

ভারবাহী পশুর মতো;

এই বিস্তৃত জগৎ চলছে চলবেই স্বপথে...

বেলা গড়িয়ে গেলে;কে কার বোঝা টানে?

এই বিস্তৃত জগৎ জুড়ে এই ছোট্ট বাতাসটুকু-

যদি আর কখনো না আসে ফিরে;

আমার আমিকে খুঁজে নেবো অসীমে...

কিসের ব্যথা?কার ব্যথায়?কে কাঁদে?

এই শূন্য ঘরে কে আর বাতি জ্বালায় সন্ধ্যাকালে।

এই বিস্তৃত জগৎ ছেড়ে

হিমালয় বরফের দেশ থেকেও বহুদূর...

আমিও নিরুদ্দেশ হবো কোনোকালে;

মাটির বুক ফুঁড়ে রেখে দিয়ো...

আমি আর কখনোই সাগর ছুঁতে চাইবো না।

তোমাদের সুখ উল্লাসের ছলকানিতে 

যদি গহীনের মতোই আরো গহীন অতলে-

আমাকে খুঁজতে যাই অসীম অন্ধকারে;

অতল কিনারায় লেপ্টে থাকা আয়নায়

তোমার তুমিকে দেখে নিয়ো সযতনে। 

এই বিস্তৃত জগৎ তোমার তুমিতে আবদ্ধ,

আমিও বের হতে চাই,খুঁজতে চাই আমাকে;

কাঙাল চাহুনির নিছক ছলনায়-

ক্লান্তিতে দেখি ওপারে সাদা মেঘ ভাসে জলে।
