Problematic  Education system in Bangladesh:

Bangladesh is a developing country. Most of the people of this country are poor and illiterate. They can’t fulfill their basic needs properly. After division of this country to construct a separate province for Muslims and Hindus by the declaration of Mohammad Ali Jinnah in 1947 this state was called east Pakistan and it was a province of Pakistan. The Pakistani rulers dominated this country about 25 years.They didn’t want to set up more educational institutions for this state.They wanted to make us illiterate.After liberation war, Father of the nation, Sheikh Mujibur Rahman commenced this country in a new way to make a golden bangla in the world. But in the irony of fate the enemies assassinated him on 15th August in 1975.At present his daughter is running this country in a charismatic way.After taking power she developed about all the sectors.Education sector is the biggest sector in our country but the condition of this sector is very poor at present. The education minister is not so much skilled. He is failure to protect question out in all exam. The future of this sector is a matter of thought now a days.

Five  tiers education system exist in Bangladesh –

1.Primary
2.Secondary
3.Higher secondary
4.Higher education
5.Research 

Broad Systems of education –
1. General
2. Madrasha
3. Vocational
4. Politecnic or diploma.
5. Open university
6. Public university
7. Medical  college
8. Science  and Technology university

So many systems are present in Bangladeshi education system.But this system is failed to make a skilled nation but why?The system is defective or the personnel appointed here are not qualified.
Reasons behind it-

1.Memorising education system
2.Lack of training for teachers
3.Appointment of teachers by political way.
4.Evaluation of certificates rather than brilliancy
5.Lack of dignity of teachers
6.Poor salary for teachers
7.Politics in educational institutions
8. Lack of govt. supervision etc.
9. Lack of research interest 
10. Administrative weakness 

Primary and secondary level operated by mostly non govt. institutions where most of the teachers are appointed by local leaders they don’t follow the rules and regulations for that reason quality teachers are not ensued and quality education is not provided. Primary and secondary level are the most sensitive level where a child learn it’s basis education that knit the dream of a broader mind.

In primary  level the teachers quality must be ensued and they must have a minimum degree but in most cases in this level secondary passed teachers are appointed. In secondary level also in the same way.

Higher secondary level depends  mostly upon non- govt. institutions where teachers are appointed by the political leaders in exchange of a huge money. Their academic result or qualifications are not considered here. No exam is taken or somewhere eye catching exam is taken for appointment. Even in most cases candidates are selected before exam taken. The govt. should take steps immediately to protect the education system.There are some govt. institutions where lack of teachers are acute and govt. don’t take steps properly to appoint enough teachers for that institutions.

In higher education system the teachers appointment is completely by political chain. They emphasize mostly on the candidate’s lobbying. No exam are taken for appointment a teacher. Somewhere candidates results are considered but only academic result can’t be the base for appointment. If academic result be the only basis of a teacher brilliancy is devaluated there. For that reason proper examination should be taken for section of a qualified teacher in higher education level.A nation can be ruined if it’s education system is defective. The doctor made by this system will not be qualified. An engineer made by this system won’t be able to make a small bridge or it will collapse. A leader by this system run a country in a wrong way.So we have to emphasize only on brilliancy not on academic result. This is high time for the govt. to protect our education system as soon as possible. Otherwise the nation will be vanished within a few years.
